How HopeStack collects, uses, and protects your information.
Overview
HopeStack is the counseling platform built for care teams. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we handle information when you use HopeStack—including intake, scheduling, notes, supervision, and the MyCare Portal—and related services.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly (e.g., account details, beta inquiries, role and organization information for Directors, Supervisors, Counselors, and Intake Coordinators) and automatically (e.g., usage data, device information) to operate and improve the platform for your counseling organization.
How we use your information
We use your information to deliver the service, enforce access and operational safeguards, communicate with you, and improve HopeStack. We do not sell your personal information.
Beta invitation interest
When beta-interest signup is available, we save your name, email, optional role, fixed campaign source, and invitation contact permission with its version and time in our existing contact service. Joshua uses this record to contact you personally about your beta invitation. This does not subscribe you to marketing, create an organization, or start a trial. Form details and submissions are not sent to website analytics. Please do not submit counseling or client information. To withdraw your interest, contact joshua@hopestack.tech.
Data security
We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption and organization-level data boundaries and role-based access controls. We also maintain audit records for sensitive operational activity. Each ministry remains responsible for its own policies, training, configuration, and legal obligations.

Optional website analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics on selected public marketing pages to understand website visits. Google receives the public page address, cookie identifiers, basic visit and browser/device information, and your IP address as part of the network request. We remove URL query parameters and fragments from the page information we send and do not send referral-page URLs.
For our ACBC campaign, we also send a fixed campaign label and count selected clicks on launch-update links, only after you accept analytics. These are consented visits and clicks, not counts of all QR scans or unique people. If enabled for the ACBC welcome page, a fixed sign campaign label is used to count consented visits. The event uses a fixed public page location and title, with no query string, fragment, referrer, form data, or contact identifiers. Repeated rendering in the same browser document does not produce another campaign visit. This website integration does not track form entries or submissions, or activity in the HopeStack application, administration area, or other subdomains. It does not receive counseling, client, or health information from our forms or application. Advertising features are disabled.
Google Analytics does not load before you accept. You can reject analytics and still use the website. We remember your choice in this browser for 180 days. Analytics cookies are limited to this website host and are set to expire after 180 days without automatic renewal.
You can change your choice using Analytics settings. Rejecting analytics stops future collection and removes this integration’s analytics cookies from this browser. It does not erase information already sent to Google. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals keep analytics off. See how Google processes information from sites using its services.
